Jim Parkman and his partners, Martin Adams and William White, have over 50 years of combined experience in criminal defense, with an emphasis on white collar crime and high-level drug charges.
In 30 years of criminal law practice, Jim Parkman has handled hundreds of major felony cases, most notably the securities fraud trial and acquittal of former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy. He has been featured in major news outlets and provided legal analysis for Fox News and CNBC.
Mr. Parkman is admitted to practice in all courts of Alabama, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and active in his community.
Martin Adams has practiced in Alabama since 1994 and in Georgia since 1995, and is admitted to all state and federal courts in those states. He prosecuted more than 50 criminal jury trials as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston County before joining Mr. Parkman to establish this firm.
William C. White has practiced law since 1998, and is admitted to all state and federal courts of Alabama. He prosecuted more than 75 felony trials as an Assistant District Attorney for the 20th Judicial District before co-founding Parkman, Adams & White in 2003.
