Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Law School. During his time as a student, he received many prestigious accolades and was given many opportunities that only the most promising students enjoy. While a student, he held the honor of working with the District Attorney’s Office Seventeenth Circuit Court of Mississippi and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi. Based upon his skill and dedication, he also had the rare opportunity to participate in pre-trial hearings and conduct misdemeanor DUI cases while still a law student.

One of the greatest distinctions of Mr. Taylor’s academic career was his selection to conduct oral arguments before the Mississippi Court of Appeals. As a result of his diligence as a student, when he earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2010, he was awarded his criminal law certificate with honors.

Mr. Taylor has a long career in law. Prior to attending law school and after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Criminal Justice, Mr. Taylor was a felony probation officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections.  This experience offered deep insight into the felony probation process and gave Mr. Taylor a chance to participate in many probation revocation hearings.

Furthermore, before adding his talent to Parkman, Adams & White, Mr. Taylor was a police officer in Leeds, Alabama. During his time with the city, he received extensive law enforcement training including certification in the use of field sobriety equipment. He also received lengthy classroom training as well as real world experience in the interdiction of street drugs. This history in the law has been enriched with a wealth of experience in crime scene investigation.
